Inspiration: A Nursery fit for a Princess

A very dear friend of mine recently announced that she’s expecting a beautiful baby girl in the Autumn. As it’s the year of the Royal birth, I’ve wasted no time whipping up a little inspiration board for Prince George’s future wife. Pink & Gold Baby Girl NurseryImage sources:: Gold Chair | Fawn Gold Foil Print| Pom-Poms White Wooden Crib | Disc garland | Gold Crown Hook | Gold Chevron Pillow | Gold Pouffe | Gold Spot Sheets | Pink Frill Curtains | Gold Tip Mary Janes

I was inspired by a whole lot of pinning that the mummy-to-be had been doing and picked up on a theme of glistening gold, cool white and a hint of blush pink. The result a soft and modern palette that is perfect for any little Princess.

On my search for suitable images across, I can came across this little stunner via Les Enfants du Marais.girls_room I couldn’t help but think that this would be a beautiful progression for a little girl moving from cot to bed and love that it echoes the colour scheme of the inspiration board with a more rustic feel.

It’s lovely to be back! Let me know if you’ve been chatting through decor with any of your friends recently too.

  1. Oh this is such a wonderful post! I’m loving all of the cute girlie nursery pictures popping up on Pinterest at the moment, although I don’t have any kids myself, I do have three adorable little nieces and a nephew too. Its great how fun and filled with character childrens rooms are, and this gold and pink theme is just perfect for a future little princess x

  2. I have just one word for this whole post “CUTE CUTE & SO CUTE” !! I am just so much in love with the theme of the room. Pinks here and there. Perfect to brighten any princess’s life.
