Found: i gigi General Store

I think I could quite happily live in i gigi General Store. Nestled on the bustling Western Road in Hove (…actually) in East Sussex, the shop is a haven of outrageously beautiful homeware and gifts all laid out in a serene and welcoming setting. igigiThese beautiful images are taken directly from the i gigi website and perfectly illustrate the store’s muted, earthy palette and the stunning wares on offer. Rather than be caught bedding down for the night by owners Alex and Zoe, I’ve decided to take a few elements from the store and introduce them into my own home as I perform a well needed makeover on our utility room.

igigi_moreHigh on my list of things to include in my own home are the floating shelves, rattan baskets, a bell jar or two and a propped mirror, not to mention piling on the texture with linen and burlap.

If you’re ever in the Brighton area do make sure you drop in for a browse (or to nip upstairs for a delicious cake or two). In the meantime, consider taking a look at A Life Less Ordinary, an interiors and inspirations book by owners, Zoe Ellison and Alex Legendre.

Enjoy. Lauren x

  1. I’m hoping to have a little road trip to Brighton at some point this summer and I’ll have to make sure I visit this shop, it looks amazing.
Those little bell jars are beautiful, I’m looking forward to seeing how you use them. I’m not sure what I’d put in them myself but they’re just so quirky!
